Lash Serums 101
I’ve been using some kind of lash growth stimulator regularly for the last year and I am first hand proof that they WORK. I get asked often by friends and clients what I think of them so I thought I should try them on myself first. And im HOOKED.
I started off with Neulash and saw results in 4 weeks with full results in 8. I noticed length first and then thickness after about 6 weeks. Then I tried LashAlive, which maintained my lashes but I felt like they were not going to be able to get any longer. Then I tried GrandeLash and I saw the most dramatic difference in only 3 weeks. My lashes are now so long that they hit almost my eyebrows. All I need is a few swipes of mascara and it looks like I’m wearing falsies.
Here are some of the questions I get asked the most about lash growth products:
Arent you afraid its going to change your eye color?
No, that was a side effect of Latisse due to the darkening agent that was included in the original formula. None of the product I have tried have contained a darkening agent, so while they did make my lashes long and thick, I still have to use mascara to darken them.
How fast did you see results?
I noticed a difference in 4 weeks with full results in 6-8. Now that my lashes have grown so much, I only use it about 3 times a week to maintain.
How do you use it?
It comes in a little tube with a brush just like a liquid eyeliner, but its clear. You just brush it along your top lash line right before bed and go to sleep! I keep it next to my eye cream so I dont forget.
I am definitely a supporter of lash growth serums, while they are a bit expensive I think they are totally worth it. Hope this answered any questions! If you have any more feel free to leave them in my ask box or hit me up on twitter at @askannarose
